Please join me for an afternoon full of wine tasting and viewing of local artist and live auction of MLS Jersey’s all signed by the players, true collector’s items. Your attendance will be helping to find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and Hodgkin’s disease while improving the quality of life for those patients and their families.

Timber Jim Helps Raise Over 20K For Playground

Timbers Army members celebrate as Timber Jim gives Harper's Playground a check for over $20,000 to help make dreams come true

Sales from scarfs and other fund raisers were very successful and Jim wishes to thank all of those folks that donated their time or purchased a scarf.

Timbers Army / Harpers Playground Collaboration

In order to help Harpers Playground help reach their fundraising goal and get the handicap accessable playground built we have joined forces to create the Everyone Plays scarf. The Sunflower Scarf raised over $3,500 dollars towards their goal, and now we want to take it even futher.

Included on the scarf is the sunflower (symbolizing the event that brought the organizations together), Crossed Axes and Rose (Brand Identifier of the Timbers Army), and the Harpers Playground logo. It also has a custom color template and a solid side, coupled with a bar scarf on the other.

100% of the sales price goes towards Harpers Playground.

Portland Ale Released

On March 7th Cascade Brewing Company released Portland Ale in honor of the Portland Timbers. Originally the company planned to release the brew on March 19th but since it was already bottled, sales began earlier.

Bottles sell for $4.25 and cases for $48.00 with $1.00 from each case being donated to Timber Jim's charity Harper's Playground. Read more about this release at Brewpublic.

Welcome to the NEW Timber Jim website. Your visit here is greatly appreciated, as is your patience while we continue to work on this site. Although retired as the Official mascot of the Portland Timbers Football Club, Jim Serrill continues to attend matches and remains one of the team's most ardent fans!

Timber Jim has received much love from the Portland Timber fans, as well as the local community, and very much wants to return that love. One way Jim plans to do this is to promote some local charities. Soon we will link to these groups here on the homepage, but for now you can see them named below and linked too on the links page.

Recently, the Cascade Brewing Company produced a limited production ale called "Portland Ale". Some of the proceeds from the sale of this ale will go to Harper's Playground, "A Project to Bring an Inclusive Playground to Arbor Lodge Park," and S.M.A.R.T. (Start Making A Reader Today).
